The Bentota Beach is a strip of sand between the Bentota River and the sea. The Bentota Beach is about 7-8 kilometers long and is known for its peace, calmness and cleanness. It is famous for its soft, silky sand and warm, tropical water.

Bentota is very child friendly, the beach is clean and unspoilt and is amazing for walks, especially during the golden sunsets. If you like some peace and quiet, bentota is the perfect place to go, it’s well managed resorts and planned layout offer some of the most secluded, private experiences on the South Coast of Sri Lanka.

Bentota is located 62km to the South of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Bentota is a longstanding and planned tourist development and thus is very organized and civilised. It’s long, wide and sandy beach is at its best between October and April.
